(17)Hydraulic Control System - Change Filter Elements and Wash Screen

1. Stop engine and move hydraulic control levers to relieve system pressure.

2. Open bleed valve.

3. Remove filter drain plug.

4. Remove cover, screen and elements from housing.

5. Wash screen in clean kerosene or diesel fuel.

6. Check seal. Install new seal if necessary.

7. Install cover, screen and new elements. Tighten cover bolt to 43 ± 3 lb. ft. (6 ± 0,3 mkg).

8. Install drain plug.

9. Fill tank to level mark in sight gauge.

10. Start engine. Close bleed valve when oil flows without air bubbles.

11. Check oil level.

12. Add oil as required.

(18)Diesel Fuel Tank Filler Cap

1. Remove and disassemble cap.

2. Wash cap and elements in clean kerosene or diesel fuel.

3. Lightly coat elements with lubricating oil. Assemble and install cap.

(19)Diesel Fuel Tank

1. Open fuel drain valve.

2. Drain moisture and sediment.

3. Close drain valve.
