1.1. Positioning Seat

1. Check engine crankcase oil level. Oil level should be in the safe starting range on the engine stopped side of dipstick.

2. Check coolant level. Coolant should be approximately 1/2 inch below fill pipe.

3. Check diesel fuel level.

4. Check tire pressure. See TIRE INFLATION INFORMATION.

5. Check transmission oil level. Oil should be above FULL mark on dipstick.

6. Check hydraulic system oil level. Oil should be above ADD mark in sight gauge.

7. Check air cleaner service indicator. Have filter elements serviced if RED piston in indicator is locked up.

Seat adjustment must be checked at the beginning of each shift and when operators change.

Always use seat belt when operating machine.

Always check condition of seat belt and connecting brackets.

NOTICE

Adjust seat to allow full brake pedal travel with operators back against seat back. This will permit application of maximum force on brake pedals.
