(19)Transmission - Change Filter Element
- 1. Remove deck grate.
- 2. Remove drain plug.
- 3. Remove cover and used element.
- 4. Inspect seal and replace if necessary. Install new element and cover.
- 5. Install drain plug. Start and operate loader a few minutes to fill filter with oil. Install deck grate.
- 6. Check oil level and add oil if necessary.
(20)Transmission - Wash and Oil Breathers
- 1. Remove both breathers.
- 2. Wash in clean kerosene or diesel fuel.
- 3. Oil elements lightly. Install breathers.
(21)Diesel Engine Crankcase - Wash Breather
- 1. Loosen hose clamp.
- 2. Remove cover assembly.
- 3. Remove both elements.
- 4. Wash in clean kerosen or diesel fuel.
- 5. Dry elements with pressure air.
- 6. Install elements and cover. Tighten hose clamps.
(22)Hydraulic System - Change Filter Elements
- 1. Wait at least 5 minutes after engine has stopped before servicing filter elements.
- 2. Loosen bleed plug on steering filter.
- 3. Loosen bleed plug on brake filter.
- 4. Remove drain plug on brake filter.
- 5. Remove cover, screen and elements from steering filter.
- 6. Wash screen in clean kerosene or diesel fuel.
- 7. Inspect cover seal and replace if necessary.
- 8. Install new elements; screen and cover.
- 9. Tighten cover bolt to 43 ± 5 lb. ft. (6 ± 0,7 mkg).
- 10. Remove cover and element from brake filter.
- 11. Inspect cover seal and replace if necessary.
- 12. Install new element.
- 13. Install cover.
- 14. Install drain plug.
- 15. Start engine and close bleed valves when oil flows without air bubbles.
- 16. Check oil level.
- 17. Add oil if necessary.
(23)Front And Rear Differentials And Final Drives - Check Oil Level
- 1. Operate loader on level ground a few minutes before checking. Check on level ground.
- 2. Loosen plugs slowly. Do not drain oil if level is above plug opening.
- 3. Add oil to level of plug opening if required. Install plugs.
(24)Rear Differential And Final Drives - Wash and Oil Breather
- 1. Remove breather.
- 2. Wash in clean kerosene or diesel fuel.
- 3. Oil element lightly and install breather.
(25)Diesel Fuel Tank
- 1. Open fuel drain valve.
- 2. Allow moisture and sediment to drain.
- 3. Close drain valve.
(26)Diesel Fuel Tank Filler Cap
- 1. Remove and disassemble cap.
- 2. Wash cap and elements in clean kerosene or diesel fuel.
- 3. Lightly coat elements with lubricating oil. Assemble and install cap.
(27)Brake Lining
- 1. Apply brakes and check for clearance between edge of shoe plates and retracting springs. Install new brake lining when shoe plate contacts retractor springs.
- 2. Replace damaged or missing retractor springs.
(28)Brake Accumulator
- 1. Remove floor plate for access to accumulator.
- 2. Check accumulator nitrogen precharge pressure. Your AVSpare dealer is equipped to make this check.
