1. START engine RUN for 5 minutes

9. INSTALL cooler drain plug

10. FILL system with solution of 1 lb. (0,45 kg) Sodium Bisulphate (NaHSO₄) per 5 gal. (19 ltr.) water

11. START and RUN engine at operating temperature for 1/2 to 1 hour

12. STOP engine

NOTE: Most commercial cooling system cleaners may be used. Follow instructions carefully

13. DRAIN

14. FLUSH system with clean water until drained water is clear

15. INSTALL

16. FILL with solution of 1/2 lb. (0,23 kg) Sodium Carbonate Crystals (Na₂ CO₃, 10H₂O) per 10 gal. (37,9 ltr.) water

17. START and RUN engine 10 minutes

18. DRAIN

19. FLUSH with clear water
