This booklet is designed to be used as an on-the-job reference guide in conducting AVSpare engine installation audits, commissionings, and performance analyses. Its use is intended only for engineers and technicians knowledgeable of the concepts and principles contained in the reference publications. The publications on the following page should be consulted if detailed information on the subject is desired. Additionally, whenever engine performance data such as heat rejection and air flow is available in the AVSpare Technical Marketing Information (TMI), it should be used instead of the Rules of Thumb contained in this guide.
